
According to the Shanghai Metals Market, A00 aluminium ingot price in China has continued to hike for the third day in a row to exceed RMB 21,000 per tonne. Data shows the price has surged by RMB 300 per tonne on Friday, January 7, to close the week at RMB 21,040 per tonne. The average prices are expected to range between RMB 21,020 per tonne and RMB 21,060 per tonne, with spot contract to be traded at a premium price of RMB 50-90 per tonne, up by RMB 30 per tonne from the previous day.

In Gongyi, A00 aluminium ingot price has jumped by RMB 310 per tonne to stand at RMB 20,940 per tonne, followed by the surge of RMB 290 per tonne in Wuxi to RMB 21,030 per tonne, found SMM. In Tianjin, the primary aluminium ingot price has climbed by RMB 280 per tonne to RMB 21,020 per tonne, while the price in Foshan, Chongqing, and Shenyang has grown by RMB 270 per tonne to RMB 20,960 per tonne, RMB 21,030 per tonne, and RMB 21,010 per tonne, respectively. In Hangzhou and Linyi, A00 aluminium ingot price has hiked by RMB 250 per tonne to settle at RMB 21,040 per tonne and RMB 21,090 per tonne as of January 7.
Low-carbon aluminium price in China has soared by RMB 274 per tonne to come in at RMB 21,556 per tonne on January 7, learned SMM.
Among aluminium alloys prices, aluminium alloy (A356) price has also expanded by RMB 300 per tonne to peg at RMB 22,950 per tonne on January 7. The average prices are expected to range between RMB 22,900 per tonne and RMB 23,000 per tonne.

Aluminium alloys (ADC12) price and aluminium alloy (A380) price, on the other hand, have grown by RMB 100 per tonne to stand at RMB 20,700 per tonne and RMB 21,900 per tonne, respectively.

Of primary aluminium input costs, aluminium powder price has inched up by RMB 0.30 per kg to close at RMB 23.05 per kg, with average prices estimated to range between RMB 23-23.1 per kg.
