A00 aluminium ingot price extends drop by RMB90/t; Aluminium Alloy (A356) price stands at RMB15150/t

A00 aluminium ingot price edged lower by RMB 90 per tonne or 0.62 per cent to stand at RMB 14450 per tonne on Tuesday, 07 January 2020, from Monday’s price of RMB 14540 per tonne. This marked the third consecutive fall in aluminium ingot price. The price is expected to range at RMB 14430-14470 per tonne. Spot aluminium contract is likely to be traded at a premium of RMB 80-120 per tonne.

In Foshan and Wuxi, the price fell by RMB 130 per tonne and RMB 80 per tonne to stand at RMB 14520 per tonne and RMB 14440 per tonne on January 7. Their average prices are expected to range within RMB 14500-14540 per tonne and RMB 14430-14450 per tonne. Aluminium prices in Hangzhou and Chongqing came in at RMB 14430 per tonne and RMB 14460 per tonne, down RMB 90 per tonne and RMB 70 per tonne. Their average prices are expected to range within RMB 14420-14440 per tonne and RMB 14440-14480 per tonne.

Aluminium ingot prices in Shenyang, Tianjin, Linyi, and Gongyi dropped to stand at RMB 14460 per tonne, RMB 14460 per tonne, RMB 14480 per tonne, and RMB 14305 per tonne.

Aluminium Alloy (A356) price was down by RMB 100 per tonne to RMB 15150 per tonne and is expected to move within a range of RMB 15100- 15200 per tonne. The prices of aluminium alloy (ZLD102) and aluminium alloy (ZLD104) stood at RMB 15100 per tonne and RMB 15075 per tonne. Their average prices are expected to range at RMB 14950- 15250 per tonne and RMB 14950- 15200 per tonne.
