A00 aluminium ingot price drops by RMB90/t to RMB19,770/t; Aluminium alloy (A356) dwindles by RMB100/t

China’s A00 aluminium ingot price has plunged by RMB 90 per tonne after witnessing a hike the previous day. As per the SMM data, the price on June 22 closed at RMB 19,770 per tonne, with the average price expected to stand between RMB 19,750 per tonne and RMB 19,790 per tonne and spot contracts trading at a premium price of RMB 0-40 per tonne.

The A00 aluminium ingot price in all the Chinese provinces has witnessed a downfall. To begin with, the price in Gongyi and Linyi has dropped by RMB 150 per tonne and RMB 120 per tonne to score at RMB 19,860 per tonne and RMB 19,890 per tonne. In Wuxi and Hangzhou, the price has decreased by RMB 90 per tonne to peg at RMB 19,770 per tonne and RMB 19,820 per tonne. On the same day in Foshan and Chongqing, the price nosedived by RMB 120 per tonne and RMB 110 per tonne, to halt at RMB 19,750 per tonne and RMB 19,810 per tonne. In Shenyang and Tianjin, the A00 aluminium ingot price has descended by RMB 70 per tonne and RMB 50 per tonne, to record at RMB 19,770 per tonne and RMB 19,790 per tonne.

According to the data shown by SMM, the high purity aluminium (99.99%) price and the high purity aluminium (99.996%) price has slipped by RMB 100 per tonne to come in at RMB 27,800 per tonne and RMB 28,800 per tonne.

On the same day, aluminium alloy (ADC12) price and (A380) price has gone down by RMB 50 per tonne to settle at RMB 19,950 per tonne and RMB 20,950 per tonne. The average price for (ADC12) price is expected to orbit between RMB 19,850 per tonne and RMB 20,050 per tonne. For (A380) price, the average price is expected to stand between RMB 20,850 per tonne and RMB 21,050 per tonne. Aluminium alloy (A356) price has fallen by RMB 100 per tonne to score at RMB 20,800 per tonne, with the average price expected to range between RMB 20,700 per tonne and RMB 20,900 per tonne.
