11th International Aluminium Symposium bringing world-leading companies together on Oct 12-13 in Istanbul
Mark your calendar for the 11th International Aluminium Symposium (alus’11), scheduled on October 12-13, 2023, at Istanbul Fair Center, Yeşilköy, Istanbul, an old European city neither touched by time nor age. This year, the event is jointly organised by Turkish Aluminium Industrialists Association (TALSAD), TUBITAK Marmara Research Center and METEM-UCTEA Chamber of Metallurgical and Materials Engineers’s Training Center.
11th International Aluminium Symposium will bring together the aluminium sector and academia under one roof to demonstrate scientific and technological developments that will shape the metal industry to fit in the global forum. The main objective of the event is to inform participants about the latest developments and innovations in the global aluminium industry, as well as the futuristic vision of Turkey’s aluminium sector.
Leading global companies like Rusal, Assan Aluminyum, ELVAL, Secowarwick, Teknik Aluminyum and many others will grace the event with their presence. Esteemed associations like European Aluminium will also make its presence at the event.

The first Aluminium Symposium was held in 1994, organised by the Turkish Aluminium Industrialists Association, Eti Aluminium Co. and the Chamber of Metallurgical Engineers at the Seydişehir Eti Aluminium Plant. In 2019, the event switched to an international format and became an important platform where scientific and technological developments are presented.
