CFF RECYCLING has a crush on scrap metal. France's largest scrap processor, CFF (formerly Compagnie Française des Ferrailles) collects and recycles used products and production waste from scrap metal and nonferrous metals (such as aluminum and copper). Each year it crushes 6.1 million tons of ferrous and non-ferrous scrap at 110 locations in France (and 30 elsewhere in Europe and in North America). CFF also provides waste disposal (cars and electronics) and recycling services (such as the recycling of plastics and tires), and provides collection centers for local communities. The company is a subsidiary of waste services provider Derichebourg.
