Equipped with ZPE – magnetic heater (zero pollution), powerful water/air quench system and strict process control, the equipment is designed for the production of high-value aluminium profiles in complex shapes primarily for the automotive industry, as well as for solar energy systems and construction applications. The new press also introduces additional technological capabilities, including the production of profiles with maximum lengths of up to 14,000 mm — a capability implemented for the first time at Alcomet, significantly expanding the company’s product portfolio.
The project is part of Alcomet’s long-term development strategy, which focuses on key industry trends such as electric mobility, lightweight vehicle design, and the reduction of carbon emissions, supporting global sustainability carbon-neutrality goals.
The successful first extrusion was achieved through the close collaboration between the teams of ALCOMET AD and PRESEZZI EXTRUSION GROUP, who worked together on the installation, commissioning, and start-up of the new equipment.
