China’s A00 aluminium price gets boosted by RMB130/t; High purity aluminium prices witness RMB100/t spike

A00 aluminium ingot price has seen an RMB 130 per tonne rise to close the week at RMB 18,520 per tonne, as recorded by the Shanghai Metals Market on Friday, August 5. The average prices are expected to range between RMB 18,500 per tonne and RMB 18,540 per tonne, with spot contracts trading at a discount price of RMB 90 per tonne and RMB 50 per tonne.

The provinces in China have witnessed a hike in aluminium prices today, with A00 aluminium ingot price rising the highest in Wuxi and Hangzhou by RMB 130 per tonne to RMB 18,480 per tonne and RMB 18,540 per tonne, followed by RMB 90 per tonne hike in Gongyi to RMB 18,400 per tonne. The primary aluminium price in Foshan has also escalated by RMB 90 per tonne to close at RMB 18,370 per tonne. The primary aluminium prices in Shenyang, Tianjin and Linyi have gained RMB 80 per tonne to rest at RMB 18,420 per tonne, RMB 18,420 per tonne and RMB 18,520 per tonne. The primary aluminium price rose the lowest in Chongqing by RMB 70 per tonne to halt at RMB 18,410 per tonne.

In China, the domestic price of low-carbon aluminium has expanded by RMB 90 per tonne to stand at RMB 18,968 per tonne on Friday, August 5.

According to the data shown by SMM, high purity aluminium (99.99%) price and high purity aluminium (99.996%) price have been augmented by RMB 100 per tonne each to rest at RMB 26,600 per tonne and RMB 27,600 per tonne, respectively.

The aluminium alloy (A356) price has shot up by RMB 100 per tonne arriving at RMB 19,600 per tonne. The average prices are likely to range between RMB 19,500 per tonne and RMB 19,700 per tonne, says SMM.

The prices of aluminium alloys (ADC12) and aluminium alloy (A380) have heightened by RMB 50 per tonne coming in at RMB 18,450 per tonne and RMB 19,450 per tonne. The price of aluminium alloys (ADC12) hovered between RMB 18,350 per tonne and RMB 18,550 per tonne. The price of aluminium alloy (A380) hit the RMB 19,350 per tonne to RMB 19,550 per tonne range.

The aluminium powder price in China has gained RMB 0.10 per kg to settle at RMB 20.30 per kg, with average prices ranging between RMB 20.20 per kg and 20.40 per kg.

The price of al fluoride in China dropped exponentially by RMB 550 per tonne closing at RMB 8,850 per tonne on Friday.
