
A00 aluminium ingot price in China has plummeted by RMB 220 per tonne on August 19, Friday. According to the Shanghai Metals Market, the price has precisely settled at RMB 18,420 per tonne, with average prices estimated to range between RMB 18,400 per tonne and RMB 18,440 per tonne and spot contracts to be traded at a discount price of RMB 20 per tonne and a premium price of RMB 20 per tonne.

The primary aluminium ingot price in Foshan has recorded a maximum decrease of RMB 250 per tonne to RMB 18,240 per tonne, followed by an RMB 230 per tonne decline in Hangzhou to rest at RMB 18,450 per tonne. In Wuxi, Chongqing, Shenyang and Linyi, the A00 aluminium ingot prices have nosedived by RMB 220 per tonne to come in at RMB 18,410 per tonne, RMB 18,350 per tonne, RMB 18,370 per tonne and RMB 17,540 per tonne. The price in Gongyi has suffered a loss of RMB 200 per tonne to rest at RMB 18,340 per tonne. The price of A00 aluminium ingot price dropped the lowest in Tianjin by RMB 140 per tonne, closing at RMB 18,450 per tonne.
Today in China, the domestic price of low-carbon aluminium has shrunk by RMB 250 per tonne to stand at RMB 18,843 per tonne.
According to data shown by SMM, the high purity aluminium (99.99%) price and the high purity aluminium (99.996%) price have downsized by RMB 200 per tonne to stop at RMB 26,500 per tonne and RMB 27,500 per tonne, respectively.
Today, due to the declining primary aluminium ingot price, the aluminium alloy (A356) price has faced a downward plunge of RMB 200 per tonne, arriving at RMB 19,900 per tonne. The average prices are likely to range between RMB 19,800 per tonne and RMB 20,000 per tonne, says SMM.
The prices of aluminium alloys (ADC12) and aluminium alloy (A380) have remained stagnant at RMB 19,000 per tonne and RMB 20,000 per tonne, showing no alteration today.
The aluminium powder price in China has lost RMB 0.20 per kg to settle at RMB 20.30 per kg, with average prices ranging between RMB 20.20 per kg and 20.40 per kg.
