China’s A00 aluminium price augments by RMB150/t; High purity aluminium prices see RMB200/t spike

A00 aluminium ingot price has seen an RMB 150 per tonne rise to close the week at RMB 17,990 per tonne, as recorded by the Shanghai Metals Market on Friday, July 22. The average prices are expected to range between RMB 17,970 per tonne and RMB 18,010 per tonne, with spot contracts trading at a discount price of RMB 30 per tonne and a premium price of RMB 10 per tonne.

The provinces in China have witnessed a hike in aluminium prices today, with A00 aluminium ingot price rising the highest in Gongyi and Linyi by RMB 180 per tonne to RMB 17,990 per tonne and RMB 18,070 per tonne, followed by RMB 170 per tonne augmentation in Tianjin to RMB 18,040 per tonne. The primary aluminium price in Shenyang escalated by RMB 160 per tonne to close at RMB 18,020 per tonne. The primary aluminium prices in Foshan, Wuxi, Hangzhou and Chongqing have gained RMB 150 per tonne to rest at RMB 17,930 per tonne, RMB 17,990 per tonne, RMB 18,030 per tonne and RMB 17,990 per tonne.

In China, the domestic price of low-carbon aluminium has expanded by RMB 159 per tonne to stand at RMB 18,535 per tonne on Friday, July 22.

According to the data shown by SMM, high purity aluminium (99.99%) price and high purity aluminium (99.996%) price have been augmented by RMB 200 per tonne each to rest at RMB 26,000 per tonne and RMB 27,000 per tonne, respectively.

The aluminium alloy (A356) price has shot up by RMB 150 per tonne arriving at RMB 19,100 per tonne. The average prices are likely to range between RMB 19,000 per tonne and RMB 19,200 per tonne, says SMM.

The prices of aluminium alloys (ADC12) and aluminium alloy (A380) have shrunk by RMB 100 per tonne coming in at RMB 17,600 per tonne and RMB 18,600 per tonne. The price of aluminium alloys (ADC12) hovered between RMB 17,500 per tonne and RMB 17,700 per tonne. The price of aluminium alloy (A380) hit the RMB 18,500 per tonne to RMB 18,700 per tonne range.

The aluminium powder price in China has gained RMB 0.10 per kg to settle at RMB 19.80 per kg, with average prices ranging between RMB 19.70 per kg and 19.90 per kg.
