On Wednesday, March 27, China’s A00 aluminium ingot price slumped by RMB 180 per tonne to settle at RMB 19,270 per tonne, with the spot contract price expected to be traded at a discount price of RMB 110 per tonne to RMB 70 per tonne. On the other hand, Y-o-Y, a growth of RMB 870 per tonne, was recorded from RMB 18,400 per tonne recorded on March 27, 2023.
{alcircleadd}As of today, the average prices may orbit between RMB 19,250 per tonne and RMB 19,290 per tonne. The prices in Foshan and Gongyi have fallen by RMB 180 per tonne and RMB 160 per tonne, settling at RMB 19,170 per tonne and RMB 19,220 per tonne.
On the other hand, in Wuxi and Hangzhou, the prices have expanded by RMB 110 per tonne to peg at RMB 19,430 per tonne, followed by a rise of RMB 110 per tonne in Shenyang to halt at RMB 19,370 per tonne. The SMM domestic aluminium ingot prices in Chongqing, Tianjin and Linyi have also grown by RMB 100 per tonne to stop at RMB 19,380 per tonne, RMB 19,390 per tonne and RMB 19,400 per tonne.
The domestic price of low-carbon aluminium has increased by RMB 116 per tonne to RMB 20,288 per tonne. The price of high-purity aluminium (99.99%) and high-purity aluminium (99.996%) has contracted by RMB 200 per tonne to RMB 26,700 per tonne and RMB 27,700 per tonne, respectively.
The average alumina spot price has lost RMB 3 per tonne to RMB 3,310 per tonne, followed by a drop of RMB 5 per tonne to RMB 3,280 per tonne. The price of aluminium alloy (A356) has slumped by RMB 200 per tonne to RMB 19,850 per tonne, with the average prices standing at RMB 19,700 per tonne and RMB 20,000 per tonne.
For aluminium alloys (ADC12) and aluminium alloys (A380), the price has descended by RMB 100 per tonne to settle at RMB 20,200 per tonne and RMB 21,200 per tonne. For (ADC12) the average prices may stand between RMB 20,100 per tonne and RMB 20,300 per tonne. For (A380) the average prices may range between RMB 21,100 per tonne and RMB 21,200 per tonne.
