Wanda Aluminium bags the National Green Factory award for 2023

Following a public announcement by China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, Henan Wanda Aluminium Industry Co., Ltd. was recently honoured with the "National Green Factory" for 2023. Since being named an Energy Carbon Management Demonstration Enterprise last year, the firm has received national recognition in green manufacturing.

Green factories embody the capability to analyse and optimize the structure of production capacity, resulting in further reductions in production costs and the assurance of production quality. It serves as the central component of the green manufacturing system. It necessitates stringent criteria for efficient land utilization, environmentally friendly production methods, effective waste management, and the use of low-carbon energy in factory development.

"Carry out emission transformation of water, smoke, and gas, construct ultra-low emission control facilities, equip with online monitoring systems, and connect with environmental protection departments. Starting from the substitution of clean energy and waste recycling, we have implemented the integrated project of Yuneng New Energy Photovoltaic Energy Storage, introducing the complete set of paint removal technology for Yingsaide industrial furnaces. We focus on the harmless treatment of raw materials, clean production purification, and low-carbon energy, moving towards "green", comprehensively improving energy management level, and promoting the transformation and upgrading of enterprise green development," said the company.

The push-type heating boiler has been optimized using a new environmentally friendly and energy-saving boiler with high heating speed, cyclic use of combustion heat value, and low tonne consumption. The gas consumption per tonne has been lowered from 35m3/t to 22m3/t, with a 13m3 reduction in gas consumption per tonne, reducing energy consumption and expenses.
