US aluminium plates, sheets, bars imports from Oman flaunt an increase of 36.25% Y-o-Y in July 2021

According to the US Geological Survey (USGS), the United States imported 8,720 tonnes of US aluminium plates, sheets, bars etc from Oman in July 2021, showing a month-on-month increase of 1,100 tonnes or by 14.43 percent. In June 2021, 7,620 tonnes of plates, sheets, bars were imported from Oman, flaunting a descend of 17.06 percent from 8,290 tonnes in May 2021.

On a year-on-year calculation, US aluminium plates, sheets, bars imported from Oman in July 2021, moved up by 2,320 tonnes or by 36.25 percent from 6,400 tonnes.

From January to July 2021, the imported plates, sheets, bars by the United States settled at 51,200 tonnes. For the same period last year, the amount exported by Oman closed at 37,300 tonnes.

Outlook For The Indian Aluminium Industry

According to the data shared by the United States Geological Survey, the total amount of aluminium plates, sheets, bars, crude metals and alloys, and scrap imported from Oman for July 2021 closed at 8,720 tonnes. For the same period last year, the amount totalled at 6,400 tonnes, showing an increase of 2,320 tonnes in 2021.
