
According to the US Geological Survey (USGS), the United States imported 4,770 tonnes of US aluminium plates, sheets, bars, from Japan in July 2021, flaunting a month-on-month decrease of 210 tonnes or by 4.21 percent. In June 2021, 4,980 tonnes of plates, sheets, bars were imported from Japan, highlighting an increase of 1.42 percent from 4,910 tonnes in May 2021.

On a year-on-year calculation, US aluminium plates, sheets, bars imported from Japan in July 2021, elevated by 19,670 tonnes or by 244.95 percent from 8030 tonnes.
From January to July 2021, the imported plates, sheets, bars by the United States closed at 27,700 tonnes. For the same period last year, the amount exported by Oman settled at 8,030 tonnes.
According to the data shared by the United States Geological Survey, the total amount of aluminium plates, sheets, bars, crude metals and alloys, and scrap imported from Japan for July 2021 settled at 4,780 tonnes. For the same period last year, the amount settled at 871 tonnes, showing an increase of 3,909 tonnes in 2021.
