
According to the US Geological Survey (USGS), the United States exported 5,290 tonnes of US aluminium crude metals and alloys to Canada in September 2021, showing a month-on-month plunge of 140 per tonne or by 2.57 percent. In August 2021, 5,430 tonnes of US crude metals and alloys were exported to Canada, showing a surge of 490 per tonne from 4,940 tonnes in July 2021.

On a year-on-year calculation, US aluminium crude metals and alloys exported to Canada in September 2021 nosedived by 1,670 tonnes or by 23.99 percent from 6,960 tonnes.
From January to September, the exported aluminium crude metals and alloys to Canada closed at 50,700 tonnes. For the same period last year, the amount closed at 63,700 tonnes.

As per the data shared by the USGS, the total amount of aluminium plates, sheets, bars, crude metals and alloys, and scrap, exported to Canada for September 2021 totalled at 36,800 tonnes, showing a year-on-year decrease of 4,200 tonnes. The total amount recorded for September 2021 closed at 36,800 tonnes.
