Yes, off-course, Aluminium 2022 - Dusseldorf stands to be a key event that the aluminium industry has been waiting for for some time but was postponed due to the Covid pandemic. A joint venture formulated between Indonesian entities Aneka Tambang (Antam) and Inalum, most commonly known as Borneo Alumina Indonesia, might discard its plan of constructing an $831.5 million alumina refinery located at Mempawah Regency in the West Kalimantan Province of Borneo Island. A JV agreement has been signed between Altech and Fraunhofer IKTS to commercialize the CERENERGY® sodium alumina solid-state battery technology. On September 13, Constellium SE declared it is providing aluminium Auto Body Sheet solutions for the Mercedes-Benz C-Class models manufactured in China, Europe or South Africa and exported globally for purchase.
