Three-month LME aluminium ended at US$1,854.5/t; SHFE aluminium added 0.24%
Three-month LME aluminium strengthened 0.51% to end at US$1,854.5 per tonne on Thursday. The contract is expected to fluctuate between US$1,830-1,870 per tonne today.

As of Thursday October 15, LME aluminium cash (bid) price stands at US$ 1824 per tonne, LME official settlement price stands at US$ 1824 per tonne; 3-months bid price stands at US$ 1839.50 per tonne, 3-months offer price is US$ 1839.50 per tonne; Dec 21 bid price stands at US$ 1896 per tonne, and Dec 21 offer price stands at US$ 1896 per tonne.
The LME aluminium opening stock stood at 1407025 tonnes. Live Warrants totalled 1126300 tonnes, and Cancelled Warrants were 280725 tonnes.
LME aluminium 3-months Asian Reference Price is hovering at US$ 1845.07per tonne.
SHFE Aluminium Price Trend
Benchmark aluminium price for SHFE decreased to stand at US$ 2185 per tonne on Friday, 16 October 2020.
The most-traded SHFE 2011 aluminium contract ended the day 0.24% firmer at RMB14,680 per tonne on Thursday. The most-liquid SHFE 2011 aluminium generated a V-shaped movement before closing 0.17% higher at RMB14,685 per tonne in overnight trading. It is likely to move between 14,500-14,900 per tonne today.
