Three-month LME aluminium edged down by 0.02% to close at US$2,259.5 per tonne on Wednesday. It is expected to fluctuate between US$2,230-2,280 per tonne today.
As of Wednesday, April 7, LME aluminium cash (bid) price stands at US$ 2239.50 per tonne, LME official settlement price stands at US$ 2239.50 per tonne; 3-months bid price stands at US$ 2258.50per tonne, 3-months offer price is US$ 2258.50 per tonne; Dec 22 bid price stands at US$ 2258.50per tonne, and Dec 22 offer price stands at US$ 2258.50per tonne.
The LME aluminium opening stock stood at 1860125 tonnes. Live Warrants totalled 1337675 tonnes, and Cancelled Warrants were 522450 tonnes.
LME aluminium 3-months Asian Reference Price is hovering at US$ 2259.31per tonne.
SHFE Aluminium Price Trend
Benchmark aluminium price for SHFE increased to stand at US$ 2669 per tonne on Thursday, 08 April 2021.
The most-liquid SHFE 2105 aluminium contract finished the day 0.46% lower at RMB17,460 per tonne on Wednesday. Open interest fell 3,297 lots to 194,130 lots. The most-active SHFE 2105 aluminium contract ended at RMB17,460 per tonne in overnight trading. It is likely to move between 17,400-17,600 today.
