Three-month LME aluminium closed the week higher at US$2,494/t; SHFE aluminium increased 0.32%
Three-month LME aluminium rose 1.78% to close at US$2,494 per tonne on Friday. SMM expects the contract to trade between RMB18,800-19,200 per tonne today.
As of Friday July 9, LME aluminium cash (bid) price stands at US$ 2470 per tonne, LME official settlement price stands at US$ 2470per tonne; 3-months bid price stands at US$ 2488.50 per tonne, 3-months offer price is US$ 2488.50 per tonne; Dec 22 bid price stands at US$ 2473 per tonne, and Dec 22 offer price stands at US$ 2473 per tonne.
The LME aluminium opening stock stood at 1506675 tonnes. Live Warrants totalled 902225 tonnes and Cancelled Warrants were 604450 tonnes.
LME aluminium 3-months Asian Reference Price is hovering at US$ 2460.25 per tonne.
SHFE Aluminium Price Trend
Benchmark aluminium price for SHFE increased to stand at US$ 2958 per tonne on Monday, 12 July 2021.
The most liquid SHFE 2108 aluminium contract ended 0.32% higher at RMB18,875 per tonne on Friday. The contract rose 1.28% to settle at RMB19,040 per tonne on Friday night. It is likely to trade between $2,500-2,580 per tonne today.
