Three-month LME aluminium closed down at US$1,821/t; SHFE aluminium fell 0.24%
Three-month LME aluminium hit its lowest in more than two weeks at US$1,812 per tonne earlier in the session, closing down 0.05% to settle at US$1,821 per tonne on Tuesday. It is expected to fluctuate between US$1,800-1,840 per tonne today.
As of Tuesday October 27, LME aluminium cash (bid) price stands at US$ 1808 per tonne, LME official settlement price stands at US$ 1808 per tonne; 3-months bid price stands at US$ 1823 per tonne, 3-months offer price is US$ 1823 per tonne; Dec 21 bid price stands at US$ 1873.50 per tonne, and Dec 21 offer price stands at US$ 1873.50 per tonne.
The LME aluminium opening stock stood at 1469000 tonnes. Live Warrants totalled 1216650 tonnes, and Cancelled Warrants were 252350tonnes.
LME aluminium 3-months Asian Reference Price is hovering at US$ 1830.66 per tonne.
SHFE Aluminium Price Trend
Benchmark aluminium price for SHFE decreased to stand at US$ 2173 per tonne on Wednesday, 28 October 2020.
The most-liquid SHFE 2011 aluminium contract closed up 0.24% at RMB14,715 per tonne on Tuesday. Open interest fell 11,120 lots to 100,620 lots.
The contract closed 0.88% lower at RMB14,625 per tonne in overnight trading. It is likely to move between 1,400-14,800 per tonne today.
