Three-month LME aluminium climbs 1.76% to close at US$2,538/t; SHFE aluminium increases 0.31%
Three-month LME aluminium rose 1.76% to close at US$2,538 per tonne on Tuesday. SMM expects the contract to trade between US$2,480-2,550 per tonne today.
As of Tuesday July 13, LME aluminium cash (bid) price stands at US$ 2478 per tonne, LME official settlement price stands at US$ 2478 per tonne; 3-months bid price stands at US$ 2492.50per tonne, 3-months offer price is US$ 2492.50per tonne; Dec 22 bid price stands at US$ 2476 per tonne, and Dec 22 offer price stands at US$ 2476 per tonne.
The LME aluminium opening stock stood at 1480150 tonnes. Live Warrants totalled 897275tonnes and Cancelled Warrants were 582875 tonnes.
LME aluminium 3-months Asian Reference Price is hovering at US$ 2505.62per tonne.
SHFE Aluminium Price Trend
Benchmark aluminium price for SHFE increased to stand at US$ 2968 per tonne on Wednesday, July 14, 2021.
The most traded SHFE 2108 aluminium contract ended 0.31% higher at RMB19,235 per tonne on Tuesday. SHFE aluminium is expected to remain volatile at high levels in the short term. The most-liquid SHFE 2108 aluminium contract rose 0.31% to settle at RMB19,240 on Tuesday night. It is likely to trade between 19,000-19,500 per tonne today.
