The American multinational automotive electric vehicle manufacturing company, Tesla, has revealed its own 'Wireless Charging Platform', a wireless charger that can charge up to three Qi devices simultaneously.
{alcircleadd}According to our report, the charging mat's concept is similar to Apple's AirPower in that the three devices can be placed anywhere, each receiving up to 15 watts of power.
Tesla claims that the Cybertruck served as inspiration for the charging mat's angular shape. It has an Alcantara surface, an aluminium housing, and a magnetic stand that can be detached and used for flat or angled charging.
Elon Musk, owned Tesla, said, "Inspired by the angular design and metallic styling of Cybertruck, our Wireless Charging Platform provides 15W of fast charging power per device for up to three simultaneously."
"Its sleek design comprises aluminium housing, a premium Alcantara surface and a detachable magnetic stand that allows you to lay the charger flat or at an angle for better viewing. Featuring FreePower(R) technology, which charges your Qi-capable devices such as phones or earbuds placed anywhere on its surface without precise alignment."
In September 2017, Apple unveiled the AirPower, a multi-device charger that can simultaneously charge the iPhone, Apple Watch, and AirPods.
