Superior Aluminum Products recently held an eye-catching ceremony for the expansion of its facility in Russia, a small village in Ohio. The company very interestingly converts end-of-use aluminium into aluminium extruded products.
The expansion will add 50,000 square feet of space for manufacturing and administrative offices, as well as engineering, design, research and development, and customer service functions. This represents a 45% increase in the facility's existing size.

Superior Aluminum Products is known for its line of recycled-content aluminium railings, fencing, columns, and column wraps. These products often contain 50% or more recycled material, which makes buyers eligible for Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Green Building credits.
The Dayton Development Coalition supported the expansion, which will create 17 new employments in Shelby County, Ohio, over the next three years.

Superior President Doug Borchers, commented on the expansion: “I know what the labor pool is in Russia and Shelby County, and it is known that these people are hard-working; they’re small-town, with Midwest farming community values and work ethic.”
Superior is now being led by the third generation the family that established the organisation and they claim its “maintenance-free products" are adequate for use in commercial, municipal and industrial units, besides being used in nuclear family and joint family hosting plots.
Alongside its aluminium line, Superior Aluminum Products also offers a range of fibreglass and polyvinyl chloride plastic building products.
