The Shanghai Metals Market has shown a major slump in aluminium prices today, with the highest recorded fall of RMB 160 per tonne in Foshan and Wuxi, where the prices stood at RMB 18,630 per tonne and RMB 18,830 per tonne, respectively. In Hangzhou, the aluminium price halted at RMB 18,730 per tonne with a drop of RMB 150 per tonne, while the aluminium price in Gongyi negated RMB 130 per tonne to close at RMB 18,630 per tonne. In Chongqing, the aluminium price has plunged by RMB 110 per tonne to officiate at RMB 18,750 per tonne. The aluminium prices in Shenyang and Linyi have dampened by RMB 100 per tonne to finally arrive at RMB 18,780 per tonne each. In Tianjin, the same price was registered with a subtraction of RMB 50 per tonne.
China’s low-carbon aluminium price has dwindled down by RMB 142 per tonne to reach RMB 19,652 per tonne.
The price of high-purity aluminium (99.99%) and the price of high-purity aluminium (99.996%) have both decreased by RMB 150 per tonne to officiate at RMB 26,200 per tonne and RMB 27,200 per tonne.
The CIF Index of Import Bauxite price has grown by US$0.06 per tonne to officially close at US$70.15 per tonne.
The alumina price in Shandong has declined by RMB 5 per tonne to close at RMB 3,270 per tonne.
The price of aluminium alloy (A356) and aluminium alloy (A360) have uniformly plummeted by RMB 150 per tonne to officially arrive at RMB 19,350 per tonne and RMB 19,650 per tonne.
China’s aluminium powder price has dived down the graph by RMB 0.20 kg to rest at RMB 21.10 per kg, with the average prices circulating around RMB 21 per kg and RMB 21.20 per kg.
