Shanxi Huaxing Aluminium attends strategic cooperation meeting of China Coal Group

Yuan Guodong, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of Shanxi Huaxing Aluminium, recently attended the strategic cooperation matchmaking meeting of China Coal Group Shanxi Company, where the two sides discussed deepening cooperation and exchanges, as well as accelerating cooperation and development of aluminium under coal. The conference was attended by more than ten representatives from Luliang Mining and Shanxi Coal Group.

During the meeting, it was emphasised that China Coal possesses abundant aluminium resources beneath coal deposits in Xingxian County. The execution of initiatives aimed at developing these aluminium resources holds significant importance in enhancing the overall utilisation rate of resources, fostering the high-quality growth of the aluminium industry, and safeguarding national energy security.

The meeting mandated fully utilising favourable policies such as coal and aluminium co-mining, coal measure formation, development, and utilisation, and coal resource continuation in Shanxi Province and actively pursuing the exploration, development, and utilisation of coal resources under coal.

The two sides should continue to implement the spirit of the cooperation agreement, accelerate the transformation of aluminium mining from coal to ore, combine the mineral resource endowment and mining industry characteristics based on the industrial foundation, pay close attention to the mining economy's development direction, transform the resource advantage into an industrial advantage and development advantage, and integrate into the Xingxian million.
