Shangnan County's recycling project, with an annual production of 200,000 tonnes of electrolytic aluminium waste, was successfully initiated on November 22. Shangnan County is in the east of Shaanxi province, China, bordering the provinces of Henan to the east and Hubei to the south.
The project's total investment is RMB 750 million and is divided into two construction phases. The first phase aims to construct two production lines that will annually produce 30,000 tonnes of carbon slag and one production line that will annually produce 100,000 tonnes of overhaul slag.
Additionally, the project will include the necessary environmental protection facilities. Once completed, the project is expected to generate an annual output value of RMB 400 million, with profits and taxes of more than RMB 20 million, and promote employment of more than 120 people.
