Shandong and Henan province produced 18.21 tonnes of aluminium semis in H12017

<p>The China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association (CNIA) released latest data that showed the aluminium semis production in Shandong and Henan province in the first half of 2017.</p>

<p>Shandong province, one of China's major aluminium producing regions, produced 9.77 million tonnes of aluminium semis in H12017, ranking the first place in China.</p>
<p>Henan, one of the five major aluminium producing regions in China, produced 8.44 million tonnes of aluminium semis in H12017, ranking the second place in China.</p>

<p>Aluminium semis production in Henan Province grew in Q1 2017. Aluminium semis output in the province increased 10.69 per cent from the corresponding period previous year to total at 2.95 million tonnes. The volume accounted for 21.28 per cent of the total Chinese aluminium semis production for the period under review, according to an SMM report.</p>
