Québec Aluminium delegation in India from 28th January to 3rd February 2019

A delegation of 6 equipment manufacturers and technology suppliers from Québec’s aluminium value chain and AluQuébec, the apex business cluster of Québec in the aluminium sector, is visiting India from 28th January to 3rd February, 2019.

The 6 companies having wide-ranging expertise in the primary production and transformation of aluminium are Advanced Dynamics, Comaintel, Groupe EDS, Mecfor, Masteria Solutions and Stas. The objective of their visit is to meet with leaders from the Indian aluminium sector to better understand local industry requirements and identify partnership opportunities.
The said companies will visit Jharsuguda, Lapanga, Hirakud, Angul and Bhubaneshwar.

In the final stage of its visit to India, the delegation will be present at Kiosk B-36 at the Aluminium India and INCAL 2019 event.
AluQuébec represents the province’s aluminium industry actors. Its goal is to double aluminium transformation in Québec within the next ten years and to support its equipment manufacturers and specialized suppliers.
The organisation brings together all the stakeholders of the industrial chain for aluminium and supports the companies through activities related to innovation, marketing and financing, while offering technical training, a technological and commercial watch, strategic information, and efficient networking. It focuses on development of equipment suppliers and aluminium transformation companies as well as the multiple uses of aluminium.
Québec’s aluminium sector boasts of 9 aluminium smelters, 1400 transformation companies, 8 research and development centers, 53 equipment suppliers active in primary aluminium production aluminium processing.
