Primary Indian Aluminum Price Drifts Down on Daily Index

On Dec. 28, 2012, the day’s biggest mover on the aluminum price index was the cash price of primary Indian aluminum, which saw a 0.6 percent decline.
Following a quiet couple of days, the 3-month price of aluminum fell 0.5 percent last Friday on the LME to $2,081 per metric ton. Also on the LME, the primary aluminum cash price saw little change in its price last Friday at $2,043 per metric ton.
Chinese aluminum bar, billet, cash and scrap prices closed flat for the day.
