Italy-based luxury yacht conglomerate Overmarine Group’s first model of newly revealed 49.9-metre Mangusta Oceano 50 superyacht is reportedly under construction and is due to be completed during 2020. Aluminium is the main metal that gives shape to this vessel. Designer Alberto Mancini, who is designing this vessel along with the company’s in-house team says, “Almost as if the aluminium were moulded onto a living thing in motion.”

The design of the vessel is such that it ensures to optimise exterior and interior volumes and offers ample amenities. Areas such as the aft cockpit with private seating area and garage that converts into a spacious beach club are just some of the innovative features of the Mangusta Oceano 50.
The interior is designed in a way that guests can enjoy the full ocean views. Therefore, the yacht has ceiling-high windows in the main deck saloon and upper deck. Light colours and materials are being used such as linen and silk in light blue and turquoise. White marble and oak wood are in contrast with night-blue ash wood and brass finishes throughout the new superyacht.

“This is a yacht with a strong, powerful and sleek personality but with the shadows and reflections of a sculpture that plays with empty and full surfaces,” explained Alberto Mancini further.
