OnePlus Keyboard 81 Pro arrives in the market with a shiny aluminium chassis

OnePlus has recently launched its first mechanical keyboard, the OnePlus Keyboard 81 Pro. It is made of aluminium and features hot-swappable keycaps and OnePlus co-created switches.

The company has now revealed that the keyboard is available in two colours: Dark Grey and Light Grey. Customers can purchase it online from the OnePlus website starting from August 7.

OnePlus Keyboard 81 Pro is part of OnePlus' new "co-creation" program. In collaboration with keyboard manufacturer Keychron, they have designed a layout specifically tailored for macOS and contributed their connectivity protocol for seamless compatibility with Windows and Linux systems.

The keyboard has an 81-key layout and boasts "marble-mellow" keycaps that are hot-swappable for easy customisation. It also comes with its own switches, tailored to meet the demands of intense scenarios. Moreover, the aluminium chassis ushers it with impeccable strength so that the heavy packer might use it. Aluminium is 100% recyclable and can be transformed innumerable times without losing its original properties.

The Keyboard 81 Pro offers customisable RGB lighting and supports open-source firmware like QMK and VIA. It is powered by a 4000mAh battery and can provide up to 100 hours of usage with RGB lighting active.
