Novelis plans won't affect Kingston

An investment by Novelis in a New York plant will not affect the Kingston facility, the company says.
Belbin said the Kingston plant is part of the company's North American production system. He said the plant is currently working at full capacity.
In Kingston, about 250 people work at the Novelis manufacturing plant and another 85 at a research and development centre.
Staffing levels were reduced from about 100 but the Kingston office remains one of Novelis' seven research centres.
