Aluminium LED Cap stock in Alloy AA1100 is usually applied in the production of aluminium cups that act as heat sinks when attached to LED bulbs in the shape of small caps. Aluminium is the perfect non-ferrous metal with the required properties for this job.

But Aluminium Alloy AA1100 flaunts higher conductivity than the contemporary aluminium concoctions, thus making it the perfect material for creating LED bulb caps.

The launch of this latest aluminium alloy product will augment NALCO’s position in the downstream aluminium sector, enhancing the market ratio of the company. The primary consignment of the product was also successfully dispatched in honour of this inaugural event.

The Secretary to the Ministry of Mines (MoM), Government of India, Shri Vivek Bharadwaj, officially announced the launch via a virtual programme during his purposeful stopover at the NALCO Corporate office.

The CMD, NALCO, Shri Sridhar Patra, the Joint Secretary to the MoM, Government of India, Dr Veena Kumari D and other respectable figures like the Directors or senior officials of NALCO also witnessed the product launching event.

In commemoration of the launching event, specific arrangements were also made at the Rolled Product Unit housed by NALCO’s smelting division in Angul.
