
LME aluminium opened at US$2,289 per tonne on Monday and closed at US$2,290 per tonne.

LME aluminium cash bid price and LME aluminium official settlement price both witnessed an US$8.50 per tonne or 0.37 per cent hike to rest at US$2,288 per tonne and US$2,288.50 per tonne on Monday, September 12.
3-month bid price ascended by 0.87 per cent or US$20 per tonne to stand at US$2,309 per tonne, while the 3-month offer price witnessed a spike of US$19.50 per tonne or 0.85 per cent closing at US$2,309.50 per tonne.
December 23 bid price and December 23 offer price gained 1.05 per cent or US$25 per tonne stopping at US$2,347 per tonne and US$2,352 per tonne, respectively.
LME aluminium opening stock continued to decline by 0.27 per cent or 900 tonnes, from 335,275 tonnes to 334,375 tonnes as of September 12.
Live warrants totalled 257,600 tonnes, with a rise of 0.27 per cent or 700 tonnes.
Cancelled warrants read 76,775 tonnes, shedding 2.04 per cent or 1,600 tonnes from the day before.
LME aluminium 3-month Asian Reference Price came in at US$2,299.10 per tonne, after 1.35 per cent or US$31.53 per tonne got reduced.
SHFE aluminium price
Today, on September 13, the SHFE benchmark aluminium price experienced a US$9 per tonne or 0.33 per cent increase to arrive at US$2,718 per tonne, if compared with yesterday’s data.
The most-traded SHFE 2210 aluminium contract opened at RMB 18,525 per tonne at last Friday’s night session before closing at its night session high of RMB 18,965 per tonne, up RMB 550 per tonne or 2.99 per cent.
The most-traded SHFE 2210 aluminium closed up 2.99 per cent or RMB 550 per tonne to RMB 18,965 per tonne, with open interest up 7,953 lots to 174,663 lots.
