LME aluminium price slips by US$29/t to close at US$3,043/t; SHFE is closed for CNY holiday
On Wednesday, February 2, LME aluminium cash (bid) price dropped by US$29 per tonne to stand at US$3,042.50 per tonne. On the other hand, LME aluminium official settlement price also slumped by US$29 per tonne or by 0.94% to settle at US$3,043 per tonne. 3-month bid price and 3-month offer price closed at US$3,026 per tonne and US$3,028 per tonne. December 23 bid price and December 23 offer price also scored at US$2,823 per tonne US$2,828 per tonne, for the same day.
LME aluminium opening stock registered at 782225 tonnes. Live warrants and Cancelled warrants for the same day also scored at 445150 tonnes and 337075 tonnes.
LME aluminium 3-month Asian Reference Price also totalled at US$3,038.33 per tonne.

The SHFE market is closed on the occasion of Chinese New Year Holiday.
