LME aluminium price slips by US$16/t to US$2,164/t; SHFE market is closed for National Day Holiday
On Monday, October 3, both LME aluminium cash bid price and LME aluminium official settlement price slumped by US$16.5 per tonne or 0.75 per cent and US$16 per tonne or 0.73 per cent to settle at US$2,163 per tonne and US$2,164 per tonne.
3-month bid price and 3-month offer price settled at US$2,168 per tonne and US$2,169 per tonne after witnessing a drop of US$27 per tonne or 1.23 per cent and US$28 per tonne or 1.27 per cent.
December 23 bid price and December 23 offer price slipped by US$23 per tonne or 1 per cent to halt at US$2,270 per tonne and US$2,275 per tonne.
LME aluminium opening stock was recorded at 330050 tonnes. Live warrants and Cancelled warrants stood at 261300 tonnes and 68750 tonnes.
LME aluminium 3-month Asian Reference Price plunged by US$86.06 per tonne or 3.85 per cent to score at US$2,145.68 per tonne.
SHFE aluminium price
The SHFE market is closed today for the National Day holiday. On Friday, September 30, the SHFE price surged by US$53 per tonne to close the week at US$2,581 per tonne.
