LME aluminium price moves up by US$28.5/t to close at US$3,087/t; SHFE price pegs at US$3,488/t

Three-month LME aluminium opened at US$3,035 per tonne last Friday, and closed at US$3,087 per tonne, up US$51 per tonne or 1.68%.

On Friday, February 4, LME aluminium cash (bid) price soared up by US$28.5 per tonne or by 0.93% to close at US$3,086.50 per tonne. For the same day, LME aluminium official settlement price also hiked by US$28.5 per tonne or by 0.93% to peg at US$3,087 per tonne. 3-month bid price and 3-month offer price registered at US$3,063 per tonne and US$3,065 per tonne. December 23 bid price and December 23 offer price scored at US$2,820 per tonne and US$2,825 per tonne.
LME aluminium opening stock settled at 775475 tonnes. Live warrants and Cancelled warrants for the same day recorded at 413625 tonnes and 361850 tonnes.
LME aluminium 3-month Asian Reference Price clocked at US$3,051per tonne.
SHFE aluminium price
On Monday, January 7, the benchmark aluminium price for SHFE totalled at US$3,488 per tonne.
