LME aluminium edged up 0.35% on Wednesday; SHFE aluminium advanced 0.58%
Benchmark aluminium price on London Metal Exchange edged up 0.35 per cent to US$ 2029 per tonne on Wednesday, 16 December 2020, from US$ 2022 per tonne on Tuesday.
As of Wednesday December 16, LME aluminium cash (bid) price stands at US$ 2029 per tonne, LME official settlement price stands at US$ 2029 per tonne; 3-months bid price stands at US$ 2045.50 per tonne, 3-months offer price is US$ 2045.50 per tonne; Dec 21 bid price stands at US$ 2071.50 per tonne, and Dec 21 offer price stands at US$ 2071.50 per tonne.
The LME aluminium opening stock stood at 1377225 tonnes. Live Warrants totalled 1191275 tonnes, and Cancelled Warrants were 185950 tonnes.
LME aluminium 3-months Asian Reference Price is hovering at US$ 2033.94 per tonne.
SHFE Aluminium Price Trend
Benchmark aluminium price for SHFE increased to stand at US$ 2512 per tonne on Thursday, 17 December 2020.
The most-liquid SHFE 2101 aluminium contract finished the day 0.58% higher at RMB16,370 per tonne on Wednesday. Open interest fell 5,778 lots to 112,974 lots.
