LME aluminium cash offer price falls 0.51% to $3,003.5/t as stocks decline to 236,375t

London Metal Exchange (LME) aluminium prices declined across cash, three-month and December 2027 contracts on October 20 compared with October 19. The cash offer price fell by 0.51 per cent to USD 3,003.5 per tonne, while the three-month offer price decreased by 0.50 per cent to USD 2,997 per tonne.
The LME aluminium cash bid price declined by 0.51 per cent from USD 3,018.50 per tonne on October 19 to USD 3,003 per tonne on October 20. The cash offer price decreased by 0.51 per cent from USD 3,019 per tonne to USD 3,003.5 per tonne.
Similarly, the three-month bid price fell by 0.47 per cent from USD 3,010 per tonne to USD 2,996 per tonne, while the offer price dropped by 0.50 per cent from USD 3,012 per tonne to USD 2,997 per tonne.

The December 2027 contract's bid price declined by 0.51 per cent from USD 2,968 per tonne to USD 2,953 per tonne. Its offer price decreased by 0.50 per cent from USD 2,973 per tonne to USD 2,958 per tonne.
LME aluminium opening stocks fell by 1,500 tonnes, or 0.63 per cent, to 236,375 tonnes on October 20 from 237,875 tonnes on October 19. Live warrants remained unchanged at 221,350 tonnes, while cancelled warrants declined by 1.00 per cent from 15,025 tonnes to 14,875 tonnes.
The LME aluminium three-month Asian Reference Price stood at USD 3,002.5 per tonne on October 20. Meanwhile, the LME alumina Platts price was recorded at USD 384.27 per tonne.
