
On Tuesday, October 3, both LME aluminium cash bid price and LME aluminium official settlement price dropped by US$30 per tonne or 1.31 per cent and US$29.5 per tonne or 1.29 per cent to score at US$2,256 per tonne and US$2,257 per tonne.

On the same day, the 3-month bid price and 3-month offer price slumped by US$23 per tonne or 0.99 per cent to halt at US$2,292 per tonne and US$2,294 per tonne. December 24 bid price and December 24 offer price fell by US$25 per tonne or 1.01 per cent to score at US$2,427 per tonne and US$2,432 per tonne.
LME aluminium opening stock came in at 504850 tonnes. Live warrants and Cancelled warrants settled at 193300 tonnes and 311550 tonnes. LME aluminium 3-month Asian Reference Price dwindled by US$50.68 per tonne or 2.14 per cent to reside at US$2,310.16 per tonne.
SHFE aluminium price
Today, on October 4, the Shanghai Futures Exchange (SHFE) aluminium benchmark price chart has shown no update owing to the Mid-Autumn festival and the National Day holidays.
