With the inauguration of the new aluminium rod manufacturing, Litmus Industries is expected to provide a high-quality and steady supply of aluminium rods. This shall help the country eliminate its trade deficit. Nepal currently relies on aluminium imports to meet the requirements, including wires, cables and conductors.

Moreover, it will create immense employment opportunities for people residing in different sectors of the country. Moreover, with the introduction of the new plant, the country is expecting to attract higher foreign and domestic investments.

Besides this, economically, the country is set to reduce the need for constant imports of aluminium rods with the inauguration of the first-ever plant in the region. Furthermore, by localising the production of aluminium rods, Litmus Industries is planning to keep the generated revenues within the country's boundaries. It has also been anticipated that after the launch of the plant, a steep development of technical expertise within the country's electrical and aluminium industries could be witnessed.

The inauguration ceremony is facilitated by the secretary of the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Supply, Krishna Bahadur Raut, alongside other industry leaders, business experts and government officials.

This has provided a clear recognition towards the plant's contribution to enhancing the country's economic resilience and industrial independence. Nepal's government and its vision towards fostering self-reliance within the country have essentially been the goals of the manufacturing plant.
