Lincoln Industries acquires Southwest Metal Finishing and Inventix Manufacturing

Lincoln Industries, one of the leading provider of metal finishing services and manufactured finished products, has acquired affiliated Wisconsin-based businesses Southwest Metal Finishing and Inventix Manufacturing.

Southwest Metal Finishing in New Berlin, Wisconsin is a decorative chrome plating and metal finishing company. Inventix Manufacturing in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin produces zinc and aluminum die castings. Southwest Metal Finishing also has facilities in Texas and Mexico. Together, the companies employ over 600 people.

Marc LeBaron, CEO and chairman of Lincoln Industries, says the transaction expands Lincoln Industries capabilities and market reach, and will strengthen relationships with current customers.

“The combination of our companies will drive substantial technological and operational synergies,” says LeBaron. “While we provide more than 40 finishing processes, and significant manufacturing capabilities, the addition of zinc and aluminum die casting and related metal finishing processes are important additions to our offerings.”

Lincoln Industries has been nationally recognized as a major provider of manufacturing, fabrication and metal finishing services. In addition, Lincoln Industries culture and wellness programs have been nationally recognized and the company has been selected as one of the best companies to work for in the U.S. seven times. Based in Lincoln, Nebraska, the company also has a facility in Pine Island, Minnesota.

Now in its 66th year, Lincoln Industries has seen significant growth in the past year, especially while serving the heavy-duty truck market. The company has added 50 new people at Lincoln and plans to hire 50 more this year. Lincoln Industries Minnesota facility has also added more than 30 new people to meet its growth needs.
