Laminazione Sottile Group and Contital jointly start Contital LM Turkey to manufacture aluminium food containers and rolls

Laminazione Sottile Group and Contital have jointly announced their new venture and production start at the new company "Contital LM Turkey". The company will specialize in manufacturing aluminium food containers and rolls.

The new company is equipped with 20 presses, 6 rewinders and over 90 moulds and it covers an area of approximately 6,000 square meters. The company aims to cater to the growing market demand with high product quality and service.  Contital LM Turkey will widen Contital and i2r products range and the expansion is expected expand it functional and widespread market coverage.

Laminazione Sottile Group’s business unit dedicated to the aluminium containers sector will now be structured into 3 companies with the addition of Contital LM Turkey:

1. Contital srl, located in Italy, is leader in the aluminium trays market and rolls that caters to the food industry and retail chains
2. i2r Packaging Solution LTD, in the United Kingdom, has an expertise in the production of smoothwall trays, especially for the ready meals market
3. Contital LM Turkey will produce trays and rolls in Turkey to meet the demand of emerging markets and to expand the range of products supplied by Laminazione Sottile Group

Laminazione Sottile is an aluminium transformation group that manufactures rolled aluminium products in different alloys and dimensions, with gauges from 6 microns to 6 mm, for a wide range of applications and comprises of multiples companies for their different businesses.
