UK-based bike maintenance items manufacturer Juice Lubes has become popular for its flagship Aluminium Anti-Seize (AAS) Paste that perfectly oils the stuck mechanisms of any ride. Unlike its precursor, the copper lubes, this aluminium variant can be applied for smooth transitions in the winter season.

Using lubricants for stuck bike parts is a good practice among riders that saves them a fortune while the ride goes for routine servicing. Where oils and other products have inflammatory properties, the aluminium anti-seize paste acts as a cooling and oiling agent at the same time.
Until this specific discovery was made, there was a prevailing notion that only copper could be used as a lubricating agent for the stuck components of a bike. But with age, it was deciphered that many other metals have a better chance of becoming the base element in making a bike lubricant. At the same time, copper can be very dangerous due to its extreme heat conductivity.
A bike frame can be composed of metals like steel, stainless steel and aluminium. Sometimes, copper-based grease can cause unwanted cracks to appear on stainless-steel frames but in aluminium’s case; the non-ferrous metal can be used safely on the surface of carbon components.
Another major utility of aluminium greases are they can be safely used on electrical joints as the metal is electrically inert.
Juice Lubes Aluminium Anti-Seize paste comes packed in a 150g round container, which is more user-friendly than a tube and economical. The ASS paste can be applied using an external brush to achieve greater and safer smoothness than a copper slip might provide. The only thing to take care of is the insides of the tub must remain safe from containment so that the product stays intact for days.
The aluminium paste will significantly benefit a rider who needs to smoothen out a stuck steerer, seatpost or bottom bracket. Every bolt can be greased with the product to secure an effortless ride.
