Calculate Embedded Emissions for Unwrought Aluminium (HS7601)
Enter your input
Notes:
There may be a difference when calculating the price with respect to
import volume, carbon price, and benchmark emissions, as the embedded
formula may result in minor variations due to decimal rounding.
Therefore, the actual value may vary.
CBAM is applicable to trade volumes starting from 50 metric tonnes. For trade volumes below 50 metric tonnes, CBAM does not apply.
Usage Procedure – How to use the CBAM Calculator Sheet
Enter or update values only in the
INPUT PARAMETERS section (Highlighted in blue) ,
including the carbon price, benchmark emissions, CBAM chargeable
percentage (as per the phase-in year), and imported quantity.
The system will automatically calculate the
payable emissions and the total CBAM cost (€)
based on the inputs provided.
Notes:
• Change any input value to automatically update CBAM cost.
• Formula used: Carbon price × payable emissions × quantity.
• Model aligned with CBAM supplier-side illustrative methodology.

JNARDDC organizes one day meet on Aluminium extrusions at Nagpur
1MINS READ
Jawaharlal Nehru Aluminium Research Development and Design Centre (JNARDDC), is organizing one day Meet on Aluminium extrusions in strategic applications and challenges ahead. The theme of this workshop is to identify strategic applications of aluminium extruded profiles in sectors such as defence, aerospace, automobile etc and share ideas related to aluminium extrusion of hard alloys, potential users, equipment selection suitable for this application, R & D focus for port hole die development to minimize trial and error methods.
The Meet will provide a common platform for participants to discuss about technology of aluminium extrusion, the problems faced, the role of simulation in product design changes from end users in the aluminium industry. The target audience for the Meet are technologists, equipment suppliers, die designers, manufacturers and end users. A tentative agenda of the workshop is given below.
- Demand for extruded aluminium profiles by end user industries
- Requirements for development of dies and tooling (port hole die design)
- Requirements from extrusion press for hard alloy extrusions
- Need for R & D focus
- Work done by JNARDDC & work planned in future
