Jiangsu Alcha Aluminium joins ASI as new production and transformation member
On June 24, Aluminium Stewardship Initiative (ASI) announced the joining of Jiangsu Alcha Aluminium Group Co., Ltd as its new production and transformation division member. ASI is an industry-led programme which aims to advance sustainability along the whole value chain for aluminium.
Jiangsu Alcha Aluminium Group Co., Ltd. ("the Company" or "Alcha"), a provider of comprehensive solutions for various types of heat transfer systems and an integrated clean technology solutions provider, was founded in 1987. It is an advanced manufacturing enterprise specializing in new materials and precision machinery manufacturing.
With a floor space of over 240,000 square metres, a building area of roughly 100,000 square metres, total assets of RMB 6 billion, and registered capital of RMB 796 million, the company is based in Changshu, Jiangsu Province. The company was formally listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange on August 21, 2007, under the ticker symbol 002160 and the acronym Alcha.
