IFA 2017: Acer launches Chromebook 15 with an aluminium body

Acer, the world's leading Chromebook brand, has introduced a new model in its Chromebook 15 line. The new Acer Chromebook 15 is made out of aluminium and has a long battery life of up to 12 hours. The model is thinner and lighter than previous generations.

The laptop sports 15.6-inch HD display with 1920 x 1080 resolutions that ensures sharp visuals. It is powered by dual-core Intel Celeron and quad-core Pentium processors. The other features include 32GB or 64GB flash storage, 4GB or 8GB RAM. Connectivity options include USB 3.1 Type-C Port, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, two USB 3.0 ports, HDMI port, audio jack, and an SD card reader.

An aluminium top cover and palm rest laptop will be available with either a touch screen display (CB515-1HT) or non-touch display (CB515-1H). The laptop will be available in EMEA in October starting at EUR499 and in North America starting at $399.
