IFA 2017: Acer launches Chromebook 15 with an aluminium body

Acer, the world's leading Chromebook brand, has introduced a
new model in its Chromebook 15 line. The new Acer Chromebook 15 is made out of
aluminium and has a long battery life of up to 12 hours. The model is thinner
and lighter than previous generations.

of delivering the most innovative Chromebooks in the industry and in the widest
range of sizes."

The laptop sports 15.6-inch HD display with 1920 x 1080 resolutions
that ensures sharp visuals. It is powered by dual-core Intel Celeron and
quad-core Pentium processors. The other features include 32GB or 64GB flash
storage, 4GB or 8GB RAM. Connectivity options include USB 3.1 Type-C Port,
Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, two USB 3.0 ports, HDMI port, audio jack, and an SD card
reader.
An aluminium top cover and palm rest laptop will be
available with either a touch screen display (CB515-1HT) or non-touch display
(CB515-1H). The laptop will be available in EMEA in October starting
at EUR499 and in North America starting at $399.
