Germany to witness a slight increase in export of aluminium tubes and pipe fittings in 2017

According to the Product Complexity Index (PCI), aluminium tube or pipe fittings are the 939th most traded product and the 279th most complex product.  Germany is the top exporter of aluminium tube or pipe fittings after the United States and China.

The U.S accounts for the largest chunk of aluminium tube or pipe fittings export by Germany. The country topped the list of aluminium tubes and fittings suppliers among the EU members.

According to the recent estimate, in 2015, Germany exported 4832 tonnes of aluminium tubes and pipe fittings globally. The total revenue from aluminium tubes and pipe fittings export amounted to about US$ 57.95 million. In2016, Germany exported an estimated 2965 tonnes of aluminium tubes and pipe fittings. The total revenue from the export amounted to US$ 54 million for the estimated amount. 

Considering the trend in last two years, aluminium tubes and pipe fittings export by Germany in 2017 is estimated to reach 3247 tonnes and the revenue from export is estimated to be about US$ 46.45 million.

The largest part of aluminium tubes or pipes fittings from Germany is exported to Hungary, the USA, the United Kingdom, France and Czech Republic.
