Formwork broadens its horizon

Formwork usage has become very extensive in construction industry, thanks to the advantages it offers in terms of quicker execution and better results. Indian construction industry has started using some of the world class technologies. Several formwork systems are in use at different places in the world; eventually the systems which are reasonably economical and easy for operation with skilled labour are more useful in India. Leading players in this industry are Doka, Mascon System, MFE Formwork Technology (Mivan), Meva, Peri, Uday Structurals & Engineers and Paschal.
Different systems have their own advantages but one needs to choose a formwork which best supports individual project requirement. Its light weight, simple pin and wedge assembly gives unparallel speed of construction. It eliminates high skilled carpenters as it is made in factory with precision engineering,” Ketan Shah, Managing Director, MFE Formwork Technology India Pvt Ltd. With the presence of over 20 years in the field, MFE currently manufactures about 35000 m2 per month in this particular segment.
