FILTEC, one of the leading food, beverage and pharmaceutical inspection machine providers, launched its latest Remote Vision Inspection (RVI) systems. All aluminium cans, glass bottles, and PET bottles are subject to inspection by the RVI system, which is a minimal and adaptable machine vision solution.

Other possible inspection carried on by the RVI system includes seam damage inspection on aluminium cans, tracing the date of origin for a can or bottle with barcodes, lid and tab inspection for cans, checking bottles for the existence, placement, and pattern matching of labels, and fill Level Inspection for PET and glass bottles.
"What makes RVI so unique is that the systems use modern vision inspection capabilities in a very compact and flexible package. Many of our customers have struggled with adding quality assurance to their lines due to lack of space, and RVI systems mitigate that problem," said FILTEC Chief Commercial Officer Matthew Trowbridge.
FILTEC boosts the productivity of the assembly line while safeguarding the reputation of a particular business and clients at the point of sale. They are the industry pioneers in developing technology and services for manufacturers of food, drink, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, and personal care products.
"Because RVI systems are part of the INTELLECT ecosystem, this allows your production lines to be scalable and future-proof. You can add new FILTEC inspection capabilities to your line over time, and they will be inter-connected thanks to INTELLECT," stated Dave Coleman, FILTEC Product Management Director.
