FEAL Aluminium expands its production capacity with new pressing line

Bosnia based FEAL Aluminium announced installing a new pressing line, which would raise its annual output capacity of 40,000 tonnes by 15,000 tonnes. The Spanish business SpanisIt provided the manufacturing line, the company's sixth profile pressing plant, FEAL stated in a news statement last week without specifying the investment amount.

The new line is housed in a 7,500 square metre manufacturing unit near the current FEAL production facilities at Siroki Brijeg, near Mostar. Furthermore, FEAL will soon open a factory in Cerno, near Ljubuski, to process profiles and manufacture prefabricated aluminium substructures for solar power plants and components for them.

Feal also said it is constructing a facility in Karlovac, central Croatia, for pressing, plasticizing, and machine processing of building profiles for the Croatian market and exports, which it intends to finish next summer. It will install its seventh press in the plant. FEAL will complete its two-year capacity expansion investment cycle by establishing the Croatian facility.

The company is known for producing different types of aluminium structures used in construction and industry. FEAL has evolved into an internationally present manufacturer in its more than 40 years of operation, which, with the construction of a new plant, state-of-the-art technology, and the expertise of their staff, allows them to further expand on the market.

In addition to the successful installation of the new press, FEAL will shortly finish its facility in Cerno near Ljubuki, which will be devoted to machining profiles and fabricating prefabricated aluminium substructures and components for solar power plants.

The FEAL Group is building a facility at its Karlovac site in the Republic of Croatia. In that area, a factory for pressing, plasticizing, and machine-processing building profiles for the Croatian market and abroad will open as early as next summer. This seventh press will finish the two-year cycle of investments in halls and capacity development.
